WHY? |
There are four paved greenbelt trails that ring the city. The 11-mile Tony Knowles Coastal Trail is the best. Together with the Chester Creek Trail, the meandering Campbell Creek Trail and the new Ship Creek Trail, they create a bike beltway. This internal link explains how to naviagate the trails.
Most renters encounter moose on the Coastal Trail in the woods between the airport's fenced runways and the ocean.

HOW? |
Collaborate. First we ask what type of bike(s) you ride back home and what type of riding you want to do here. Next we suggest a bike and you test it. Shift the gears, check the brakes, and make sure everything works. After selecting your bike we explain/discuss where to go and how to get there. |

Free lock, helmet, map directions, suggestions, panniers, repair kit.
One week - $150. Second week - $125. Third week - $100.*
Two bikes one week - $125 each. Third bike/more week(s) - $100.
SPD clip-in pedals and shoes - $4.

SPRING: May 12 - 24
Open: 8:30 am. Close: 8 pm.
After-hours bike return: 8 - 10 pm.
The after-hours bike return allows renters to return/lock bikes to rack in front of store after we close. Later in evening, owner returns to store, unlocks bikes and brings them back indoors so they don't sit outside overnight.
SUMMER: May 25 - Sept. 9
Open: 8 am. Close: 10 pm.
FALL: September 10 - 30:
Open: 8:30 a.m. Close: 7:30 p.m.
After-hours bike return: 7:30 - 9:00 p.m.
OCTOBER: October 1 - 30
Open: 9:00 a.m. Close: 7 p.m.
After-hours bike return: 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
WINTER: Nov. 1 - April 19. Although we don't keep regular hours, if you call first, owner can meet you at the store so you can either rent a bike or buy a jersey. Owner's cell # is 907-250-1170.
